Over the last 30 years we have supported many causes driven by special people.

Who we are helping.

  • Shona

Being a young woman can be really tough. Shona celebrates women from all over the world, those who succeed and those who overcome, those who lead and those who think, those who win and those who learn. Figuring out who we are, and where we fit into this world is hard, and there are so many challenges; anxiety, depression, body image, self-esteem, boys, family drama, social media, exams stress, hormones, sexuality, relationships, bullying and feeling like we don’t fit in. The world (and Instagram) tells us we should have it all figured out by now, and that we should be perfect, which none of us will ever be. Shona helps girls to be smart, strong and, above all else, kind.

  • Jeeps for Peace

Jeeps for Peace teamed up with Shannon Energy to fund, buy and deliver three 4X4's to Ukraine, filled with medical supplies. A volunteer team of 6 met up with the Jeeps for Peace UK team, and in total 25 4x4s travelled in convoy to Ukraine.

They delivered critical supplies of food and medicines, evacuated civilians in danger and retrieved wounded soldiers from the front-line, who were rapidly transported to the vital medical teams. Each vehicle directly saved lives and the medical supplies were donated to Ukrainian front-line hospitals.

  • Hockey Ireland Underage Pathway

The fantastic performance of the Irish senior hockey teams at international level, winning a world cup silver medal and qualifying for the Olympics, does not happen by accident. It relies on a deep and ‘best-in-class’ pathway programme that develops talent effectively from U16 years and above. The pathway programme safeguards the success of Ireland hockey teams at international level and is a vital roadmap for the players to stay involved and realise their ambitions. It is highly depended on the fantastic commitment of the young players and their parents but also of corporate sponsors and donors who support the intensive training and international tournaments that develop the stars of the future.

  • Going for Growth

Going for Growth is designed to support women who are serious about growing their businesses. It believes that entrepreneurs learn best from each other. Accordingly, the initiative is based on interactive roundtable sessions that are facilitated, not by consultants, academics or professional trainers, but by successful entrepreneurs. Since 2009 the merits and excellence of Going for Growth have been recognised repeatedly by the EU, OECD, and European Institute of Gender Equality. In 2015, Going for Growth was awarded the European Enterprise Promotion Award, Investing in Entrepreneurial Skills. The initiative was included by the EU and OECD in a compendium of examples of innovative initiatives.
